CityTourPlayer is a new product from NexSwiss Ltd. It allows you to create your own audioGuide for the public transport of your choice.

CityTourPlayer allows you to create audio guides which accompany the users of a means of transport during their path and which synchronise with the speed and the route of the said vehicle (Bus, Tram, Metro, Boat, etc).

Thus, it is not a question here of remaining frozen in a precise place, but of being accompanied during a path that you choose and define in your AudioGuide.

Thanks to our easy-to-use tools, in particular our new route editor, you can easily select images, audios, subtitles and routes as well as the stations of your choice. Now, in GPS mode, as soon as the vehicle reaches an area, the associated part of your audioGuide will start, always keeping what your listener hears and sees through the window in sync.

Who, when seeing their bus arrive, still wants to download a heavy application?

CityTourPlayer relies on web technologies, which nowadays allow as much precision and efficiency as an application, both in terms of geolocation and performance. Thus, there is no need to wait for any download; just scan the QR code, and off you go! In addition, the tools provided allow you to easily create posters to share your AudioGuides by QR code or short link at the stations and in the vehicles in question.

In Europe, roaming charges tend to disappear and that it is increasingly common and normal to have an unlimited data package. So the inconvenience of an audioGuide not being pre-downloaded disappears.

That said, we do offer an economy mode that reduces data consumption by up to 1000%. In addition, we are already working on the possibility of pre-downloading your paths via wifi, again without any application to download.

Thanks to our technology, you can now offer your passengers audio guides.

All they need is a smartphone connected to the internet. What's more, you can create your first line for free* right now, without having to wait.

*The creation of your project is free, but the number of possible readings by your travelers as well as the number of functionalities can be reduced according to our price range.

About Us

CityTourPlayer is a project from NexSwiss Sàrl, a company based in Switzerland.

The idea for this platform arose during a visit to London on bus 11. Indeed, this bus offered very beautiful views of the best places in the British city but did not provide any real-time information about these places. We came up with the idea of creating a platform that would allow public transport companies and cities around the world to produce customized audioguides on existing public transport networks. In this way, both small towns and large cities could offer tourists, as well as their locals, the opportunity to freely discover their landscape without using private buses routes and to take advantage of existing urban networks.
